Welcome to the newest edition of the Credenco Newsletter, our monthly update on the latest progress, product developments, and activities across the Credenco ecosystem. Each month, we highlight key milestones, showcase new features, and share opportunities to engage with our community and initiatives.
This month, we highlight key workshops, Business Wallet demos, and platform updates that showcase how Credenco is advancing trusted digital identities and interoperable solutions across Europe.
Highlights
TruPASS Selected for NWO Funding – The TruPASS project has been selected for funding by the NWO (Nederlandse Organisatie voor Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek) to strengthen trust in Digital Product Passports through verifiable, privacy-respecting data across sustainability use cases.
Green Lane Business Wallet Demonstrator – Together with FIDES - Accelerating Digital Trust , Credenco contributed its Business Wallet technology and LPID Issuer Portal to the Green Lane experiment, showcasing how digital business wallets can simplify and modernize business registration through trusted, reusable data sharing.
WE BUILD Consortium Workshop Paris – Credenco joined IN Groupe and WE BUILD Consortium partners in Paris for hands-on sessions advancing the SC1 logistics pilot, aligning European Business Wallet technology to real-world use cases such as transport company onboarding, on-site identification, and cross-border data exchange.
Company Passport Process Guidance Application – Credenco started a new project to implement a process guidance application that supports entrepreneurs in their business processes using personal and business wallet technology. The project will deliver a web-based application that is integrated with the Company Passport Wallet and Sandbox Environment.
Product Updates
Introducing Credenco’s Personal Wallet – Credenco has developed a Personal Wallet next to its Business Wallet, enabling individuals to manage both personal credentials (such as ID and driver’s license) and business-related credentials (like VAT numbers, insurances, and bank accounts) from a single, trusted environment.
Verifier Templates further enhanced – Credenco's Business Wallet now provides an even more user-friendly way to configure Verifier Templates to facilitate sharing of data between individuals and organisations. Combined with the Universal OID4VP API this makes sharing data with Relying Parties as easy as a single API call, while still providing fraud-resistence and preserving privacy.
Machine to machine communication – We extended the API's of our Business Wallet to enable machine to machine interaction to support a richer set of use cases for issuing and verifying claims. Besides the OID4VCI and OID4VP protocols, we also support the direct issuance and verification of credentials and presentations to Business Wallets. Furthermore the inbox functionality has been enhanced to support Verifier Templates enabling straight-through sharing of data between machines.

13–14 January – Credenco will join the WE BUILD Consortium in Paris for hands-on workshops advancing the SC1 use case, aligning European Business Wallet solutions with real-world supply chain and logistics applications.
