Credenco Business Wallet passes WE BUILD compliance
All test cases of the Interoperability Test Bed cleared
Credenco has successfully passed all test cases of the WE BUILD Consortium Interoperability Test Bed (ITB) — one of the first wallet providers within WE BUILD to reach this level of compliance.

A major milestone for Credenco. We've successfully passed all test cases of the WE BUILD Consortium Interoperability Test Bed (ITB), validating that our implementation aligns with the consortium's specifications — and we're proud to be one of the first wallet providers within the WE BUILD Consortium to reach this level of compliance.
What this includes: support for multiple credential formats (mDoc/mDL and SD-JWT), OpenID for Verifiable Credential Issuance (VCI) 1.0 with JWK, X.509 and DID identifiers, OpenID for Verifiable Presentation (VP) 1.0, and coverage of the full flow — issuance, holder, and verifier.
In practice, this means the Credenco Business Wallet has been successfully tested against the 18 test cases that cover the Conformance Specification — an important prerequisite to start the piloting phase of the use cases. The next step is interoperability testing with other compliant wallet providers in the ecosystem, enabling reliable cross-border data exchange without custom integrations.
Interoperability only works if it's tested in real scenarios, and that's exactly what WE BUILD is trying to achieve.
