Credenco joins WE BUILD
Shaping the European Business Wallet
Credenco joins the WE BUILD Consortium — one of Europe's largest cross-border digital identity initiatives, bringing together 350+ participants from 180+ organisations.
The WE BUILD Consortium officially launched in Amsterdam with more than 350 participants representing 180 organisations across 30 countries. Its objective is to build infrastructure for a fully interoperable EU Digital Identity Wallet for businesses.
Credenco participates in the WE BUILD Integration Test Bed — the technical testing environment where wallets, issuers, and verifiers undergo interoperability verification. The Credenco Business Wallet is being tested against the protocols and profiles that will govern digital credential flows across Europe: OID4VCI, OID4VP, and the EUDI Wallet standards.
The consortium addresses 13 pioneering use cases, including cross-border business registration, secure supplier onboarding, and fraud prevention — scenarios that reflect the real procurement and compliance challenges organisations face every day.
EU member states are required to provide wallets to both citizens and businesses by December 2026. Credenco is at the table, helping shape the infrastructure that will define that ecosystem.
