Why Business Wallets Aren't Personal Wallets
Credenco speaks at GDC 2026 on the European Business Wallet, together with WE BUILD
At the Global Digital Collaboration Conference in Geneva, Credenco joins the WE BUILD Consortium to explain why business wallets are fundamentally different from personal wallets.

We're excited to be part of the Global Digital Collaboration Conference 2026, taking place 1-3 September in Geneva, Switzerland.
On 2 September from 14:00 to 14:50 in Room Delta, we'll be sharing insights from the WE BUILD Consortium on the emerging European Business Wallet ecosystem within the European Digital Identity framework, as part of the EUDIW group track, together with co-organizer LINUX Foundation Group.
Our session is titled “A company has no fingers: why the European Business Wallet is not a personal wallet at scale - Lessons from WE BUILD”.
We'll explore what makes business wallets different from personal wallets, including organisational identity, delegation, interoperability and trusted cross-border data exchange.
Drawing on lessons learned from the WE BUILD pilot and its partners, we'll share practical insights into how evolving European specifications are being translated into near-production implementations for real-world business and government use cases.
If you're attending, come join us and discover what it takes to make the European Business Wallet work at scale.
- Date: 2 September
