Real progress happens when the right people are in the same room
Notes from the WE BUILD kick-off in Amsterdam
The most meaningful progress in digital identity often happens at the edges — in conversations, partnerships, and shared commitments between the right people in the same room.

Not all milestones come with a press release. Some of the most meaningful progress in the digital identity space happens in the margins of events — in side conversations, whiteboard sessions, and working lunches where the real alignment takes place.
At the WE BUILD kick-off in Amsterdam, Credenco connected with counterparts from across Europe working toward a trusted, interoperable digital identity infrastructure for businesses and citizens. The gathering brought together regulators, wallet providers, identity architects, and procurement specialists to address shared challenges.
Digital identity is ultimately a coordination problem. The technology is mature, and the standards are in place. What remains is the harder work: building trust between governments, businesses, and platforms. That kind of trust does not form through specifications alone — it requires sustained in-person collaboration.
Our participation in these conversations is a strategic investment in the ecosystem we are building together. Tomorrow's interoperable credential infrastructure starts with today's conversations — and we are committed to showing up for them.
