European Commission selects WE BUILD for large-scale test of European ID Wallets

The European Commission has selected the WE BUILD Consortium for a major large-scale test of European Digital Identity Wallets, with support from the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Chamber of Commerce.

This pilot is essential for entrepreneurs and consumers, as ID wallets will improve the way we conduct business online by enabling secure and reliable data verification.

For example, an Organization Wallet allows entrepreneurs to simplify administrative processes, such as sharing data during a tender, invoicing, and the automated exchange and validation of common data. This reduces regulatory burden and saves time—benefiting business owners. Credenco is contributing as a partner in this pilot, with over 200 participating companies.
