With the Personal Wallet, individuals can carry verifiable credentials such as diplomas, professional licences, certificates of good conduct, and identity documents — all cryptographically signed by the issuing authority, and all fully under their own control. No central database holds a copy. The credential lives in the wallet, and the wallet belongs to its owner.
