Digital Product Passport
 

In the construction sector, companies conduct Life Cycle Analyses (LCAs) to assess the environmental performance of building materials. However, integrating these verifications into Digital Product Passports (DPPs) remains a major challenge.

How can a building owner prove that all materials and installations used in their building have been certified by recognized authorities?

Company Passport

Solution:

We integrate the Credenco Organization Wallet into a single solution for issuing, managing, and verifying credentials for various Company Passport use cases, including:

• Establishing a new private limited company (BV)

• Assigning a wallet to an existing business

• Opening a business bank account
   

At this stage, we collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including the Royal Dutch Notarial Association (KNB), the Chamber of Commerce, the Dutch Tax Authority (Belastingdienst), the Dutch Payments Association, the Dutch Banking Association, and Davinci Conclusion (Taxonomy Working Group).

More and more professionals are mistakenly classified as self-employed, while in fact they are employed under a contract. Organizations often send manual requests or check Chamber of Commerce records to verify this, resulting in unnecessary administrative burden and increased risk of errors.

Solution

With a payslip issued as a verifiable credential, employers can prove that an individual is in salaried employment — without disclosing salary details.
This makes compliance with the DBA Act (Deregulation Assessment of Employment Relationships) more efficient, reliable, and largely automatable. The Dutch Tax Authority only needs to supervise whether these verification processes are correctly implemented by clients.
