PRIVACY STATEMENT

Privacy-sensitive data, or personal data, are processed via our services. We attach great importance to careful handling of personal data. Personal data is therefore carefully processed and secured by us. – Credenco

Credenco B.V. is responsible for data processing. In this privacy statement we explain which personal data we collect, use and for what purpose we use it. We hope you will read this statement carefully. If any questions arise, you can clearly contact us.

1. Conditions for processing personal data
When processing personal data, we adhere to the requirements set by privacy legislation. For you, this means that we consider the following points important and therefore comply with them:

  • we clearly state which purposes we process personal data. You can read this in more detail later in this privacy statement;

  • We limit the collection of personal data to only data necessary for strategic purposes;

  • we ask for explicit permission to process your personal data if special permission is required;

  • we always take appropriate security measures to protect your personal data and we also require this from parties that process personal data on our behalf, where necessary this is laid down in so-called separate “processing agreements”;

  • We make it possible to provide your personal data for inspection, correction or deletion at any time.

 

2. Use of personal data
When using our services, we obtain certain information about you. This can also be personal data. We store and only use the personal data that is directly ignored by you, in the context of the service you have requested, for example responding to a feedback form.


We use the following data for the purposes stated in this privacy statement:

2.1 Register
Certain parts of our services require you to register in order to use functionality. After registration, we store the personal data you provide. We store this information so that you can use our services without having to provide additional information. We may also use it to contact you in the context of the execution of the agreement, such as answering your questions.

We will not provide the data for registration and execution of the agreement to third parties, unless this is necessary in the context of the execution of the agreement you conclude with us or if this is legally required. In the event of suspected fraud or misuse of our services, we may be asked to hand over personal data to the competent authorities.

 

2.3 Use contact form and newsletter
We offer the opportunity to ask questions via our website via a contact form, where you will also be asked to fill in information so that we can handle your question more easily. You choose which information you provide. The data you send us will be deleted within 30 days as standard and otherwise kept for as long as the content of your message suggests that this is necessary for the complete response and handling thereof.

When sending messages via the website we use the following data:

  • Name

  • E-mail address

 

We also offer a newsletter with which we want to inform interested parties about our products and/or services. Every newsletter contains a link with which you can easily unsubscribe. Your e-mail address is automatically added to the database of our e-mail software, from which we ensure the safe handling of your personal data under a processing agreement.

 

2.4 Data stored and accessible via your account dashboard
With our portal you can gain access to a management environment where you can set, specify, change and, in theory, even anonymize things such as your name.

The following data is stored in your account and is also available to you.

  • Invoices, including the data required for processing

You can always submit an additional request to change or delete data. If you have any questions about our privacy policy, you can contact us at any time using the information below.

 

3. Advertising
In addition to the information on our website, we can also inform you about our new products and services: by e-mail, via social media, push notifications, telephone or other means of communication. Fortunately: this only happens if you have given explicit permission for this, and this permission can always be withdrawn.

 

4. Publication
By default, no data is published when using our services. If this happens, you choose what information you publish; For example, consider liking or following our social media channels.

 

​5. Disclosure to third parties
We may engage its group companies and other parties to process your data. To the extent that these other parties process data for the services of Credenco B.V., they do so as processors and we have entered into an agreement with those parties. To the extent that these other parties determine the purposes and means of processing data themselves, they do so as the controller. This also means that they must have a basis for processing your data. We are not responsible for the processing of your data by those parties. This privacy statement does not apply to this.

Our website uses cookies. When you visit our website for the first time, a message will be shown in which we explain why and for what purpose we use these cookies. We use so-called functional and non-functional cookies, we always ask your permission for the use of non-functional cookies; If you do not give this permission, we will not use it.

The functional cookies can also be disabled in your browser. Please note that our website may no longer work optimally.

We use Google Analytics to track how visitors use our online store. We have entered into a processing agreement with Google to make agreements about the handling of our data. Furthermore, we have not allowed Google to use the obtained Analytics information for other Google services. Finally, all IP addresses of measured traffic with us have been anonymized.

 

8. Security
We take careful security measures to limit misuse of and unauthorized access to personal data. These measures are part of our processes and are periodically reviewed.

 

9. Retention periods
The personal data described above will be kept for as long as necessary to process your orders, including the warranty. You will then store your data for a maximum of one year for the described statistical purposes. The data will then be deleted, unless there is a legal obligation that requires longer retention (such as the tax retention obligation of seven years for payment data).

We are happy to help you if you have any questions about the processing of your personal data. Under privacy legislation, you also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority about our processing of your personal data.
